Donald J. Loftus

Donald J. Loftus, President of Parlux Ltd., has had a long and distinguished career in the luxury beauty & fragrance industry. He has held the position of President & CEO for a number of companies including P&G Prestige North America, Wella’s Cosmopolitan Cosmetics US, Escada Beaute, Yves Saint Laurent Beaute U.S., Versace Profumi North America and Sanofi Beaute, North America. Prior to these positions Donald worked for Estee Lauder as a Field Sales Director and for The May Department Stores as Divisional Vice President for Cosmetics and Jewelry.

In addition to serving on the board of DGF, Donald is also the Chairman of the Board of The Fashion Group International. He is a former member of the board of The Fragrance Foundation and its former Chairman. He also serves on the board of The Women’s Project Theatre.

Don has received The Circle of Champions Award from the Fragrance Foundation, The Beautiful Apple from The March of Dimes Beauty Ball, the Business Leadership Award from B.R.A.G. (Black Retail Action Group), The Dramatist’s Guild Fund’s Patron of the Arts Award  and will be honored this fall at The American Cancer Society’s/Look Good Feel Better Dream Ball.

In addition, Donald is a playwright. He has written the book and lyrics for the musicals, “Abbey Victoria”, “Apple Annie” and “Pollyanna” and the stage plays, “The Springvale Armadillo”, “The Brother’s Grin”, “Theatre”, among others. Donald’s plays have been produced at The American Renegade Theatre in North Hollywood as part of a new Playwright’s Festival, NYC’s Vagabond Theatre and in Equity Staged Readings in NYC.
