Donald J. Loftus , President of Parlux Ltd. and Executive Vice President of Perfumania Inc., has had a long and distinguished career in the luxury beauty & fragrance industry. He has held the position of President & CEO for a number of companies including P&G Prestige North America, Wella’s Cosmopolitan Cosmetics US, Escada Beaute, Yves Saint Laurent Beaute U.S. and Sanofi Beaute, North America. Prior to these positions Don worked for Estee Lauder as a Field Sales Manager and at The May Department stores as Divisional Vice President for Cosmetics and Jewelry. Don is the Chairman of the Board of The Fashion Group International, a former member of the board of The Fragrance Foundation and its former Chairman and also serves on the boards of The Dramatist Guild Fund and The Women’s Project Theatre. Don has received The Circle of Champions Award from the Fragrance Foundation, The Beautiful Apple from The March of Dimes Beauty Ball and The Dramatist’s Guild Fund’s Patron of the Arts Award for his work in helping keep live theatre thriving. In additional, Don is a playwright. He has written the book and lyrics for the musicals, “Abbey Victoria”, “Apple Annie” and “Pollyanna” and the stage plays, “The Springvale Armadillo”, “The Brother’s Grin”, “Theatre”, among others. Don plays have been produced at The American Renegade Theatre in North Hollywood as part of a new playwrights festival, NYC’s Vagabond Theatre and in Equity Staged Readings in NYC.
